About Leadership Summer School 2023
We, the Mummert Alumni Association, know how important young people from Central and Southeastern Europe are for Europe-wide integration and distribution of unity and prosperity. However, in order to achieve this, they need the proper tools and means so that they become the leaders of tomorrow!
As such, we would like to invite all young and dedicated professionals from Central and Southeastern Europe to join us for the Leadership Summer School in Stuttgart.
In just five days, you too can learn how to:
- Define individual learning goals and personality types
- Manage conflict and project models in a safe environment with situational games
- Build vision, mission, and strategy using short case studies as a basis
- Understand the mindset of Agile Leadership

What is Leadership Summer School?
Building on the vision of the Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Foundation, the Alumni Association would like to make its own sustainable contribution to the economic development of Central and Southeastern Europe countries.
The concept of Summer School has its roots in the support program of the Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Foundation. Based on the Mummert funding program, we welcome students that study the following sciences: business administration, economics, natural sciences, and engineering.
We are members of the Alumni Association of the Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Foundation. It is thanks to this scholarship that we were able to study in Germany. We want to share our knowledge, experience, and contacts to strengthen our countries’ social development, competitiveness, and cultural exchange.
During your participation at the Leadership Summer School, you will have a chance to meet skillful trainers from German consulting firms and training companies from Europe. Get real-world knowledge, hands-on experiences from their careers, and case studies as examples. Take part in fireside evenings – unique opportunities to meet professionals in a relaxed atmosphere.
- You are a young, open-minded, and ambitious individual with boundless ideas.
- You come from Central or Southeastern European countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
- You are finishing your Master’s or Bachelor’s in economics, business, management, science, or engineering.
- You speak English fluently, although knowing German is also an advantage.
- You have excellent skills in communication and presentation.
You may or may not have some international experience, extracurricular activities, and other social engagements.

How does the application process looks like?
The First Round
We will send results of the first round and invitations for the second round by 11th-15th of June
The Final Results
We will inform all those that participated in the interview process by 25th of June about their nomination for the Leadership Summer School.
Final Application Step
You must accept your nomination and confirm enrollment by 2nd of July Participation fees are also due by 14th of July.
